In semester one, which encompasses chapters 1 - 6, we develop two fundamental tool sets. One concerns congruence (the previous chapter) and the second parallel lines (this chapter). The parallel tools will give is the ability to prove the Triangle Angle Sum Theorem and other related results. Moreover, when we combine the congruence and parallel tools, we'll be able to prove two new triangle congruence rules (Angle-Angle-Side and Hypotenuse-Leg). We end with a set of course results about trapezoids.
